Terrina Chrishell
Terrina Chrishell Stause (born July 21 1981) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children, and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville. She studied at Murray State University and received her B.A. in 2003. She became a theater actress. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an expression of portmanteau that was developed from the bizarre circumstances surrounding her birth. Her mother was born at the Shell station and Chris helped with the birth. Strause claims that the gossip surrounding her birth is false. She opened up about her mother's car problems and then walked into an auto-gas station. While waiting at the car station, she was in pre-labor, and the attendant at the car was genuinely helpful in getting her to the hospital. Strause was born in the hospital. Before she found out that she was pregnant her mother divorced her from her father. Jeff was half Japanese, half Spanish. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause was forced to live in a tent for one period of time during middle school. Strause recalled washing her hair in the river, taking food stamps and hiding her true identity from her peers. Her parents "struggled with mental and addiction health" and for a period when she joined the Worldwide Church of God when she was 10 years old. Strause describes her mother as self-righteous and free-spirited, and she did not have a steady income.
